The AfPA Sustainability Framework for Pavements (SF4P) is a key pillar of a broader Sustainability Strategy that enables Road Authorities and other stakeholders to define best practice, quantify sustainability achievements, embed sustainability metrics into procurement, and reward the industry for continuous improvement initiatives and investment they undertake.

AfPA and its National Sustainability Committee successfully launched program in mid-2023. Since its release, ten (10) applications have been submitted by asphalt operators and preliminary assessments have been undertaken with provisional results provided.

As participation in the AfPA SF4P program grows, many organisations are beginning their journey to understand submission requirements and the steps needed for a successful assessment. To support this process, AfPA commissioned its assessment team, a collaboration between Michel Consulting and HB&S Project Services, to undertake a reinvigoration project.

This project will update the programs’ documentation in terms of the assessment criteria and evidence requirements to substantiate a complying submission for assessment. Furthermore, the assessment team will look to clarify expectations and promote best practices through delivery of customised templates to facilitate development of complying submissions in accordance with the requirements of the program.

This webinar will seek to provide attendees with an understanding of the program, the update of the program documentation, the process for making a submission, good practice for file management and many other tips and tricks that will facilitate informed decision-making and streamline the submission experience.

*Registrants will be able to choose the session that best suits their availability.
