The first half of 2026 tested AfPA on two fronts, a global bitumen and fuel supply shock, and the long-term case for road resealing. On both, AfPA delivered material outcomes for members: commercial relief secured across most jurisdictions, and the 7% reseal case carried directly to decision-makers nationwide.

Behind them sat a full program of work, the first-of-its-kind National Safety Data Initiative, critical bitumen fume limit research, proficiency testing, training courses, and industry events across the country.
